Cost of a gang

I looked for anything that had to do with this and couldnt find it, please excuse me if it has already been brought up.

The cost of a gang is seriously steep and thus we have a few gangs. This is a good thing BUT there is a slight problem with this whole set-up

Who the hell is gng to train the noobs? i mean really all the gangs that we have currently only want strong people. No-one seems to be willing to train people in what to do on CW.

Personally i always played for my gang and i think we could possibly be losing people due to not having at least 1 training gang.

At the cost of the gang it is very expensive otherwise i would start one myself and thus would not need to start a thread, so my question is this

Can we lower the price of a gang? and yes that would mean giving the current owners a refund

Its like 5mil, 10k webs and 500ecs

The webs alone are hard to find and the ecs, well it will just push the demand up even more

The cost of starting a gang was raised by Orsm before the reset to try and curb 1 man gangs and to be a little hole

well Fuzz, do like we all did .. team up first and get the cd, webs & ECS by helping each other !

Off-course I would have love to have paid less or get some back now .. but it's not the goal of the game to have 200 gangs again with 150 dead ones ..

Ozy i am well aware of that, but alot of people that are joining are being lost due to not having gangs and experianced players to help them start out. That is the point i am trying to make

I do agree with fuzzy in that th ECs needed are far to high. 200 EC would be plenty. We can always raise it up again when we have some more gang. Currently we have 6 gangs, 4 of which are closed. None are taking weaker people so they have a chance of winning wars.

Easy solution is make the gang entirely based on CDS. No ECS no Webs, they are fairly easy to collect. Servers, hack Bank, sell DDs etc.

Too easy to collect. People would make to many gangs. It needs to be a combination of all three.

They should start by putting a minimum of 30 members to be able to make a gang war ..

Nothing is stopping you from doing this, so why not do this? :P
The price of creating a gang is prohibitively high, and as gangs are one of the best aspects of CW it seems a shame that newbs are being stopped from joining them. However, for the good of CW this seems like the right long term decision.
And an EC always = 50 energy, so if anything gangs should only cost ECs ;)

Rusty i agree with you in the long term aspect of things.

but for a moment, just a moment, lest consider the "right now" element for a moment

Right now it means that gangs can only be created when a group of people agree to create a gang together, thus any gang created has a lot of support behind it and won't go inactive.
