New Trainable Stat

'Scuse the style, but I'm on my 'Droid.

Firewall. Why not make firewall a trainable stat? Perhaps using a separate link from the facility and/or stat distribute.

isn't it raised by leveling? isn't that enough? or should it be "treated" like the other stats and be builded? maybe each level you got you get x amount stats to distribute? make it lower the higher level so it wouldn't increase the gap "drasticly" (like it's not to late) and out of the blue maybe levels should be something meaningfull? or the score could be used, like you can't hack other players x % lower level/score than you.. but well guess more activity needed if the top wanna be able to hack anyone...but this could also lead to closing the gap, maybe some tactical moves on not leveling/raising score too much... :?: :!:

I think another trainable stat would add more strategy but who needs strategy, march forward men!!

One of the flaws with this that has been pointed out to me, is the difference in gains from level. If I gain a level, I get a small IQ boost, a single point to each stat, and (currently) 192 points of firewall. It does serve to highlight that minor flaw in level gains. Perhaps rework the amounts gained from leveling? Like: 5 points to each stat, a single point of IQ and hacking, and perhaps more like 20 or 30 points of firewall.
