I would like to apply for staff as well (My game name has changed for a few days but I am Gatekeeper)

I have been staff on OTCW for a good amount of time now so I know a lot of the staff panel. My time online is usually between 12-16 hours a day(if only having chat up while I work or take care of my kid). Also, I have been one to help players left and right learn the workings of the game for a few years now. Overall I feel I would be a good fit in the blue coat.

I apply for myself to have a purple-colored name in chat.

Purple-colored names are just about impossible to come by nowadays, and I really feel as if the social implications of this name would have a positive outcome on the community as a whole. That's the situation. Mary may or may not have had a little lamb, but it was delicious nonetheless. Water levels of the Aral Sea have shrunk drastically in the past 50 years, and the Sea currently stands as a shadow of it's former expanse. Marky is a ginger. However, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? For the matter, what about Waldo? We should file a missing persons report. Boom boom pow. Eugenics is a sort of "forced evolution" where certain people are sterilized in order to increase the level of the entire gene pool. It's controversial theories have many people questioning the ethics of eugenics but at the same time wondering why Blanz does not have a purple name in chat. It's benefits would be staggering. Also, a flashing name would be pretty baller too.

Firstly, I can take any job either Staff or Coder.

PS: I have left most of my current online work and just surfing(random)/CWing/wasting time, and this job can help me fill the 'wasting time' part.

Game Experience - been here for 3+ years, know every element of the game, can help newbies out, online most of the time unless sleeping or outta home(mostly school).

Programming Experience - been coding for 4 years, though not overly advanced, I have a good grasp over php, HTML...obviously, I was working on jQuery for a while, In freelancing I basically made crawlers using cURL. Had a Premium Link gen site while ago and moderated some small warez forums. Made a vBulletin PM blaster (lost compatibility with most forums due to version change now) just to sell and get some extra bucks.

Forum management - Worked with phpBB (2 and 3) and vBulletin (3.8.x). Have modded in vBulletin mostly but phpBB won't me any/much different. Have moderated a few forums for friends.

Hosting - Owned a few dedis so far, mainly were for putting up premium link gen, a few were when I was trying to reselling hosting, didn't work out, have used many shared hostings, though only worked with cPanel I can adjust to any other you guys use.

If needed I can help in coding small updates for CW if wanted/trusted.

I don;t see why i should add a bios because i am sure the people of this game know me well enough to judge on their own as they know me better than any bios i could post,.

I guess I'll apply. Modded then admind a forum in which I had to make and enforce rules before the previous staff would do their jobs. I guess I'd prefer to be something like "player communications", helping players understand the decisions, priorities, actions and attitudes of the staff/admin etc and vice versa.

I was staff back in the old old days of CW, however I was pretty rough on people...what with calling them maroons and all.

Personally, I think GK would make a great staff member. So, that's my 2 cents.

My name is Matias, I become from Argentina and my mother language is the spanish, but I can manage the english at a standard level.
I'm an old player, my first login was at 2006 september, so I know practically 99% of the game features.
I can say I have enough experience to be a part of the staff; currently I administrate a forum with 3k users, and moderate as Global Mod a forum with 16k users.
Also in 2008 I was moderating the CWs Interview forum, interviewing the most important and known people here. So technically most of people here know me, and know the way I work.
Besides that, I'm a responsible guy so be sure you can trust in me.

Hmm, somewhat surprising to me to see my name put out for a staff possibility. I suppose I'd be willing to give it a go, if the community wants me to do so.

The point of these two comments are to what???? Up your post count!!! Cmon, really rusty they are not that informative, in fact you could have put them both together even. Whats your forum rule #2 rusty????? And people wonder why decent threads end up getting ruined and spammed. I also see the irony of my post but hey if rusty can do it then so can we.

And just so we stay on topic..... CJ for his level head, or GK as he does provide quite a bit of help around the place.

Personally i dont know why anyone would want the job as its thankless and time consuming if the job is done right. If its not done right we shall see our next Strfg appear.
